Next you will need to apply for a DBS check. Once you have this, you can then contact DVSA to start the process of becoming an Approved Driving Instructor!

Next Steps

Part 1

This is where your knowledge of the current road rules and regulations are tested. It is an extended version of the current theory test.

Part 2

Once you have successfully passed part one, you can then go on to your practical advanced driving examination. In this test, you must prove your superior knowledge of road handling.

Part 3

Once you have passed your part 2, we will then invite you to be sponsored by one of our highly established sister companies whereby you will be able to apply for a PDI or Potential Driving Instructor badge. (AKA. Pink badge).

This gives you up to 6 months to build up your vital teaching experience. Meaning you can ‘earn while you learn’.
